Don't Drink Tap When You Have an Oasis Water Dispenser

It makes no sense to me why anyone would want to drink regular tap water when things like the Oasis water cooler exists.  From personal experience tap water has never ever tasted anywhere near as good with its strong chlorine taste and odor.  There have even been time where the water has come out foggy which is an obvious no-go for me.  Or anyone else for that matter.  I've talked to people about these problems and almost all of them have said I should just turn the faucet on for a couple of seconds prior to drinking it.  I was taken aback by this because this method sounds like a complete waste of water.  I would have to do this every single time I drink water from the tap?  No thank you.

Having a water cooler or attaching an Aqua Pure filter to my tap water line is the only way to drink water as far as I am concerned.  Tap water is just way too disgusting for me to even consider drinking.  I would use it to boil food, wash produce and the like, and shower in but that is definitely about it.  With all of this in mind, consider skipping tap water.

Making Full Use of Our Oasis Water Cooler

So guess what we just had delivered to our door?  The Oasis water cooler we had ordered some time back.  It did not take much time to install the dispenser and the water jug.  We plugged it in to let it get cold and in no time we were able to drink some cool, great tasting water.  Another awesome feature of our new water cooler is that it has a small fridge attached to the side of it.  We bought this specific water cooler because we needed the extra space the refrigerator attachment afforded us.

We had a minor debate about what we should move from the old fridge to the small one.  After some time we decided we would try to store most of our beverages in there.  We put about 20 cans of soda, beer, and a few liters of bottled drinks in the the fridge attachment of the Oasis water cooler.  The fridge can cool to 39 degrees Fahrenheit which is perfect for us!

Our new water cooler is a very neat piece of machinery.  I love that it doubles as both a water dispenser and a second fridge.  That extra space gives us a lot to work with in terms of what we can do for groceries.

Using an Oasis Water Cooler In the Office

I am sure you have seen the stereotypical image of one or two guys talking it up at the office water cooler.  One of them is standing upright while the other is casually leaning on the water cooler.  Well, our office is absolutely not like that.  We did not have a standing water cooler when we first moved into this office space.  But, now some months later, we actually have an Oasis water cooler at our disposal.

First of all, every office needs a water cooler of some sort.  It is pretty much a requirement much like a bathroom or a coffeemaker.  So, I am very glad we have one now.  This Oasis water cooler is pretty nifty because it also doubles as a small fridge.  This latter is particularly useful because the big one we have that the entire office uses needs some cleaning out and we could use the extra space.

The water cooler runs cold and hot water and the fridge attachment has a .7 cubic foot capacity and can hold up to 36 beverage cans.  It is Energy Star rated so you will cut energy costs with this water cooler.

If you are looking to purchase a brand new water cooler I recommend this one.

Musing On An Oasis Water Cooler

"Hey man, what is going on?"

"Nothing much except it looks like our old water cooler is busted."

"That is not good. You have any idea what is wrong with it?"

"Nope. Not at all."

"Is there any way to fix it?"

"I have no idea how to fix it; in fact I do not think any one else here has any idea either."

"So what now?"

"The boss wants to get a new Oasis water cooler for the office."

"Sounds fancy."

"It is. As a matter of fact, the boss wants us to get two."

"Wow, he is really going all out."

"Yeah. The Oasis water cooler will dispense cold water as well as hot water that can be used for tea or coffee."

"True enough."

"Also, the Oasis cooler has a built-in refrigerator attached to it. It has 0.7 cubic feet capacity and can hold up 36 cans of whatever beverages we want. Obviously we can also use it to store everybody's lunches; that is part of the reason why the boss wants to get two for the office."

"That makes sense. Besides, the big office fridge we got is almost always full."

"I agree.  Speaking of which, that fridge needs to be cleaned out by the end of the day..."

"Not it!"

Oasis Water Coolers Are Convenient

Oasis water coolers are great.  They allow you to grab a cold drink in an instant without having to dig through the fridge for bottled water or crushing ice and putting it in a glass.  In fact, with a water cooler you do not have to spend a lot of money on dozens and dozens of water bottles made of plastic that may find itself in a landfill one day and hurting the environment.  You can just fill up a reuseable plastic bottle time and time again.

Oasis water coolers also have the added convenience of an attached refrigerator.  Much like other larger fridges, it has a number of shelves with which to store food and drinks.  This feature is such a useful place to unload some of the items stuffing the fridge.  You can use this miniature fridge to store all of your drinks and keep them very cool.  This water cooler/fridge would perfectly suit a small office; every office needs a water cooler and a fridge for the employees to store their lunch.  Why not get one of these and kill two birds with one stone?

When looking for ways to store and drink cool, crisp water, an Oasis water cooler is the right choice.

What is the benefit of an Oasis Water Dispenser?

There are many benefits that your work or home environment can reap from the installation of an Oasis water dispenser. Even if you think that your employees are doing just fine with that water from the tap, you should think again. Water coolers and dispensers have been lowered in price over the past few years and are less expensive to install. If you’re not convinced by the ease of use and the low cost, here are some other reasons that you should have one.

Oasis water coolers can run even if your water is interrupted for any reason. No matter where you live, it is a given that you have had your water service turned off for maintenance at least once. If your office loses water, you don’t want your employees to be without any form of hydration, you want to be able to get water regardless. A water cooler will assure that you can still drink water.

If your system has tested positive for impurities or for bacteria that make it impossible for you to safely drink from the tap, a water cooler can filter those out and make the water absolutely safe for you and your employees to drink.

Water Cooler Chatter

Every once in awhile, employees need to stand up, stretch their legs, and get some interaction with something that isn't a computer screen. The best place to go in an office is notoriously, the watercooler. This has been a gathering space for employees throughout the ages. It's been in several sitcoms and comedy sketches. The water cooler is, in fact, the place to be.

At this watering hole you don't only get the daily scoop about Miss Corner Office but also get your daily thirst quencher. You don't want to get just any water cooler for your employees but look into Oasis water coolers.

These great pieces of top of the line office equipment not only dispense cool refreshing water, but they also provide refrigeration for the water. Getting a nice long gulp of cool, clear, and clean water might be exactly what your employees need to get reenergized and ready to go back to work instead of gossiping about the mail guy.

If you’re really interested in your employee’s well being, look into Oasis water coolers. These little bits of free time when you stand up from your desk, stretch, and talk to your coworkers are actually a little oasis in the day.

The Fine Line Between Water Purification and Basic Filtration

The terms "water filtration" and "water purification" are sometimes used interchangeably, but the truth is that they actually are two different things. If you plan on purchasing a filter for your faucet or other water source, like Oasis water coolers, then you should be educated on the subtleties.

Industry leads to pollution, which in turn leads to water contamination. Basic filtration can remove plenty of the contaminants, but purification systems can rid water of the most severe impurities. Years ago, in a time long lost, water was filtered by boiling it. Historically, boiling was the only tried method to disinfect water. If done properly it will actually kill most bacteria but not the most stubborn strands. This is ineffective as a lot of the water evaporates in the process.

Chemical filtration involves iodine and chlorine, which works in killing viruses, bacteria, and protozoa. It is used in water plants before they reach your home. The problem is that this is not the best, as iodine is not the best for pregnant women and the chemicals leave a funny taste. You can buy additional 3M filters to rid the water in your home of these tastes.

Water purification strains out impurities. The better purification methods are activated carbon and reverse osmosis. They can remove to a very good extent chemical quantities, odors, poor taste, and pollutants, especially when both methods are combined.

Hopefully this information helps you on the hunt for clean water!

Recycling Water Filters?

There has been plenty of talk about the wastefulness of bottled water but not very much attention has been given to the recyclable nature of water filters. You can actually recycle water filters, though it is not quite as easy as the recycling of other items. Very few companies actually have a send back policy where they will take the old cartridges from you but there are local depositories that will take cleaned out used filters.

At this point it is more common overseas but there is a positive movement for recycling filters in the United States. Water filters are made from multiple materials. Say for example your Cuno filters are done for good and you need to replace them. Look online for places that handle specialty recycling items. The parts can be broken down and reused for making other things or converted to energy.

Oasis water coolers are going to be used plenty. The bottled water coolers need to be handled properly. They can be put in with plastic and paper garbage for recycling. Keep track of how much your employees use. You may notice you go through each tank of water pretty fast.

Cut back on the waste where possible. It makes a difference when you lessen the carbon footprint. One of the biggest benefits of water filters is waste management.

Oasis Water Coolers For Fall Festivals

September begins with a blast. With a new season comes new activities. One of the things you'll see coming around are the Fall Festivals. Pumpkin farms, town fairs, farmer's markets. They're going to be popping up all over the place. They're going to have to handle crowds and crowds of people begging for home made apple cider and pumpkin pie. Now, you may be thinking, "What does this have to do with oasis water coolers?" Well, you can't have crowds of people dehydrate can you? You need a clean water source for several fair stands.

Just because things are outside doesn't mean it shouldn't be clean. If you have any portable systems, like water coolers, you better be sure they have the freshest water for the folks coming to enjoy themselves good eats (sometimes even the cider will need to be washed down).

Food services have always relied on high quality water filters and so should you. An oasis water dispenser will provide clean water no matter where you are. All you have to do is hook it up to the system you're using. Faucet filters and tank filters are best for mobile establishments. They'll also keep everything running better. Enjoy your autumnal fun.

How Much Everpure Water Should We Drink Daily?

When it comes to drinking water, they say you’re supposed to drink 8 glasses daily. It helps if it’s Everpure of Aqua Pure water. And that’s if you’re sitting at your desk without exercising. This is according to how much water your body uses daily, if you want to keep your fluid level around 60%. But the Institute of Medicine recommends that men drink more water than women, about 13 cups daily compared to the roughly 9 women should drink.

But if you drink enough so that you rarely are thirsty and your urine isn’t too yellow, you’d probably be able to get by on about six cups Everpure water daily. If you are exercising or sweating during the day, then you should drink an additional 1.5 to 2.5 cups of water, unless you’re exercising for longer than an hour, which necessitates serious replenishment in the form of the sodium found in sports drinks.

If you live in hot weather or a heated indoor environment, you may need to increase moisture by drinking more water. And if you live on a mountain above 8,200 feet, you will also need to drink more than normal.

Although it’s possible to drink too much water, hyponatremia usually only happens to marathon runners. Food and all beverages, including tea and coffee, contain water, but they shoudn’t count for a main portion of your daily water intake. So keep sipping and remember, stay hydrated and stay healthy.
